The hotel has nothing around it except the miXc complex, and some offices. It is the new CBD area, and nothing touristy at all. If you are planning to be in Hangzhou on holiday, the better choice is probably Hyatt Regency Hangzhou along West Lake, or any of the other hotels in that area.
Thanks for this info. It comes in very handy in planning a possible visit next month. We'll probably go with the Hyatt Regency, as you suggest.
