I only ever fly economy class and am looking to redeem for Y flights with low fees. I don't really want another OW FFP, but AB seems to be my only option for my non-Amex CC spend (probably €10k/yr or so). Is AB worth it, or can anyone suggest another airline or hotel option, preferably in Austria? Would the HHonors card at €48/yr be better?

Current programs:
Aadvantage: 235k
United: 150k
Avios: 75k
Alaska: 16k
Flying Blue: 13k
There seems to be uncertainty about the financial stability of AB. AB is controlled by Etihad
AA will not codeshare with AB from some time next year.

You have a lot of ffp overlap. Be careful about expiry http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/miles...-t-expire.html
AA & BA both Oneworld. AA & BA are both partners of AS
