Maybe it's a particularly neat pumpkin--unique color, shape, whatever.

When I worked in California, I had access to all manner of citrus, guavas, avocados, etc. that rarely made it to stores in the state, let alone elsewhere. Every time I went anywhere, I took a bag of fruit.

TSA never gave the fruit a second look, but they did like to poke at lemon trees when I carried those on.
