I am a little confused about this... Reading https://www.aa.com/i18n/plan-travel/...day-travel.jsp - it seems Same Day Change is less expensive than Same Day Standby? "Change" is free for AAdvantage Saver (which I guess is Avios) but "Standby" is not free?
