To DMs who stay, have you seen/noticed any marked improvement (other than MPC mid-tier benefits)? If so, can you provide examples? I guess I'm trying to see whether CX claim - pruning MPC is about rewarding the revenue generators - really materialize and that DM today is more rewarding than DM yesterday.

Oh when I say improvement, I mean 'real' improvement. More frequent greetings on board may be nice but I think most of us agree that doesn't count as improvement in MPC program.

Or is it too early to ask this question?
I certainly haven't seen any improvement. Certainly not any extra discretion either - less in fact. So I am continuing my steady march away from CX to other OW carriers as well as *A. Tried MH to LHR, AA to DFW, JL to JFK and trying Finnair to LHR later this month as their new hard product looks identical to CX. Staying with CX/KA short haul within Asia except to SIN as I do appreciate the occasional upgrade from Y to J.

I haven't been upgraded to F in long haul for a while since I am spreading my business around, but the differential in fares is huge and difficult to justify. And the TP system is actually approximately neutral for J between CX and one stop options on other OW carriers.

I wanted to tell management this at their Peninsula cocktail last week, but had an emergency that day and couldn't attend after all.
