Potentially there's more diamonds now too since some pax who previously flew only premium classes wouldn't have made diamond under the old system but they now earn more club points so would make diamonds.
Hmm, true ... i didn't contemplate that possibility. For some reason I thought all it does is getting rid of DMs who made it by flying Y.
Presumably those are people who fly J regularly within Asia?
