Hard to say...likely, yes. There are two daily LHR-CLT flights. Both cities serve as major connection points- O+D does not account for most of the traffic on this route, rather inbound/onward connections on both ends- this according to the remarks the purser on my recent CLT-LHR flight made to a pax in J who commented on the repeatedly full J cabins on this route.

So, you're not competing so much with people flying only LHR-CLT, but connecting from/to potentially hundreds of other destinations on either end utilizing those flights as the TATL crossing.
