My Thoughts on AA
I have made the switch from MPC to AA knowing full well about the Dollar Spend, though should make it. From starting in August I should be at EXP by Christmas without the challenges.
Being based in HK at first I thought no earning below H on CX would be a problem. Then I worked out for me:
1. I do enough on trips to US/UK to earn the mileage and dollars to maintain EXP.
2. These flights cost less on AA Partners than flying CX as was my previous wont.
3. For intra-asia flying because have status anyway I can buy cheapest CX flights without mileage on AA or very few tier points on CX still have the benefits and save money on top, or try different airlines for the experience.
So perhaps I should say thank you MPC for the changes and forcing me to get a better deal! I have dropped my flying on CX 90%+, but confess I do miss the crews.
