PS At the Circumvesuviana station you could ask whether they have full-day tickets, but I doubt as no such thing is mentioned anywhere.
PS2 Woe, both places in one day: get with you with some high energy food (e.g. chocolate bars), water and good, light shoes!!!
Thanks.
Just to clarify: I will first purchase a O/W ticket to Pompeii Scavi at the Porta Nolana train station in Naples. Then, before I leave the Pompeii Scavi station, I will purchase a O/W ticket to Herculaneum (Ercolano Scavi). Finally, before I leave the Ercolano Scavi train station, I will purchase a O/W ticket back to Naples Garibaldi or Porta Nolana station.
Am I right?
Will I be purchasing these tickets from a ticket vendor or from a machine (like in the metro)?
