I can accept that.

But if I fly SFO-LHR and my bag doesn't show up, I have nothing. No underwear, no shirts, no pants.

If I fly LHR-SFO and my bag doesn't show up, sure, maybe I need a suit right away. But I can get by with whatever's in my closet until my bag shows up.

If we start getting into 72, 48, or even 24 hour delays, my thoughts change.
