Thanks all, appreciate the insight. On the 3rd call I got a helpful agent that had just us much curiosity as I do and made some calls to whoever they call. The result:

1.) Newsflash: It's a glitch. : )
2.) They dont expect it to get fixed before flight time
3.) She shared that the F cabin waitlist is full of non-revs and the only revenue ones on there are those that bought domestic F
4.) That the agents should know not to upgrade the non-revs on the F list before the rev pax on the J
