Recommendations for good/inexpensive SSD <300GB?
Before I start moving stuff from the X220 to the new X250, I want to replace the 500GB HDD with an SSD. I am currently only using about 200GB on the X220, so likely 300GB, or even 250GB would be sufficient.

Recommendations for really good deals on reliable drives right now? Any to avoid?

And I presume Clonezilla is still the freeware of choice for cloning the pristine X250 HDD to a new SSD?
