FAQ: Baggage / Luggage Rules, Allowance, Through-check on AA & Other Airlines
Flying on an AA award. SFO-LAX-NRT. SFO-LAX is economy since the F class award was not available. LAX-NRT is in F on JL. My question is this, at SFO, does my mother in law with no status get to check in at the first class AA counter? Or does she have to line up at the Y counter since her first leg is in Y?
