All of my issues (even going back to pre-summer), which were MANY, never had anything to do with weather just poor planning, bad maintenance and surprising last minute "discoveries" of issues with the plane which resulted in hours long delays.

What did you expect him to say? "Our operations stank this summer be cause the management sucks" - I don't think that is going to happen. That statement is just some spin. However, I do have confidence that Isom will get it together. He did a great job as the COO at US and now that penny-pinching Kirby is out of the way, he can focus on running a operationally strong carrier...
