For example:

- You can't go on Virtuoso.com and book without first selecting an agent. If you have one, you just need to confirm who you use. If you don't have one, you can select one (it will offer some based on your geographic location, or you can peruse at your own leisure).

- The agent will get an email each time you book, giving the agent the chance to VIP, confirm extra amenities, negotiate rates/amenities/deals, etc.

- It's pretty much a service for 'easier' bookings, i.e., "I want to go to the Surrey next weekend" - whereby you have no special requests, know what room you want, etc.

- You'll still use your agent for Four Seasons PP bookings, Mandarin Oriental Fan Club, Peninsula PC, etc etc.

It's basically meant for rather simple, straightforward bookings. That said, the agent is involved every step of the way
Does your agent earn commissions on Virtuoso hotel stays you book yourself in this system?
