Also if it flies EWR-LHR they can build in really long turns at LHR to keep the mechanical problems/other kinks from creating delays. My prediction is that these planes will be on the ground a lot during their first month.
The 77W isn't new like the 787 - shouldn't have too many problems with the airframe. More likely Polaris seat problems, if anything.
Marketing seems like a good reason to start, and then they can see where the capacity is needed.
