The Grand hotel is still the only full service "luxury option in Stockholm including a great bar and two Michelin starred restaurants (2 star Mattias Dahlgren Matsalen and 1 star Matbaren). Both restaurants will be closing end 2016 as Mattias Dahlgren will open a new concept (still within the hotel) in spring 2017.

If you want to stay in a residential area it is worth checking Ett Hem. A small boutique hotel located in Östermalm (upscale residential area only 2-3 kilometers from all the major city attractions).
