1. The Slate card was contact free. Hardly anyone used it, so I hear the never ones are not contactless.

2. As stated above, you can get Shoprunner from Amex and then pay using any card, so if you have a Blue or an Everyday for example, you still get it for free. I should add that hardly anyone pays $79 for Shoprunner, and I know from someone that I know in the industry that only something like 8% of their subscribers pay anything, let alone $79, as its an Alibaba loss leader to try and gain a foothold in the US.

3. I use my Chase cards abroad all the time, and while (like the vast majority of US issued cards from all banks) there is no PIN, there is signature, and I have yet to have a problem with it yet.
