Stayed at the Grand last week, had low expectations per FT reports but was very pleasantly surprised.

Got nice upgrade w FHR fm base to deluxe though it would easily qualify for a junior suite in other hotels. On par w FS etc hotels.

Couldn't get a room when we decided to arrive a day early since VP Biden made a last min booking there so stayed at the Lydmar which pales in comparison. (Nobis was sold out too)

Worth noting the Grand has an awesome bar.
