I am looking into my trip to Tokyo later this year. It seems there is no cash & points option nor is there any points redemption showing on the website. The government rate is showing up. I tried my sister's SET and it is also all greyed out. However, they do show with Westin Tokyo
Not sure if it means the hotel just don't offer SET rates and government rates or they haven't loaded the rates up yet.
Anyone else having similar problems?
Points redemption is not available for their base room (Superior, accordingly to SPG) and it's been that way since when the hotel was open to reservation, there is supposedly a case opened for this, although there doesn't seem to be any room labeled Superior on the official hotel website, the lowest is Deluxe which you can book with additional points by calling in.
