I had some spurious minibar charges show up, so went to the front desk. Quickly removed. Apparently I also hadn't received the envelope with goodies on checkin -- 500 points vs breakfast vs a drink at one of the expensive restaurants. I got the points. Also SPG Platinum gets 2 drink vouchers for the cheaper places (lobby monkey bar, coffee shop).
The only annoying thing is you can't have both code loyalty and SPG on your account.
Doing a $50 lunch at the northwoods cafe (also Chinese food) before checking out, to find out definitively if it is $50/day. If so this is an amazing deal.
