The W will have its own dedicated entrance, lobby, meeting space, pool and facilities and will be managed by Starwood while the remainder of the SLS will remain under its current management. Discussion here.

Got in on the Cyber Monday sale for 50% off the room rate plus a $50 resort credit last month and was told I can add my SPG number at check in. Will do a quick stay in a week. Looking forward to see how things go.

Caching error, perhaps?

How do I fix that? Oddly I clicked on your link and it shows up. The key determinant on whether the property exists seems to be whether I am logged in or not. This makes booking with points rather challenging.

If you haven't read it, here's the Hilton thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hilto...ton-us-nv.html

Since then, Sam Nazarian sold out his minority stake to his SLS partner, Stockbridge Capital Partners. I don't know who's now managing the property.

We stayed there as an HHonors Silver (no upgrade from standard room) on points on a busy weekend and were disappointed with the room.
We like Umami Burger but were unimpressed with Cleo.
