Ugh. I just wish there was hope of oneworld reversing course on this. The whole thing bums me out every time I think about it because I've done the AA to CX and vice versa through check a dozen times over the last couple years and it's beautiful. But on my last run, an AA agent made a mistake and I realized when I got to YVR that my bags were tagged to stop there. I'm sure you all know how the rest of that story goes: time-consuming & frustrating. To know that will be the norm (at least on the return trip) is disheartening.
