If Merle's is the place I'm thinking of, on the north side of Evanston, a southern food/BBQ mix type place, then no I have not been, but it is on my list to go before my project in Evanston comes to an end.

I'm leery of going to a southern food/bbq mix after my very mediocre experience at the Dixie Bait Shop. Merle's kind of looks like the same type of place.
