you got it. A buddy has a smoker and I have some awesome(IMO) rib recipies, so in my book, I do as good as ribs (and chicken) as anyone.

What I can not do is come close to the pulled pork sandwiches of the Carolinas.

I can do brisket well, but not like they do in Texas.

That's why I ask.
