CX has announced that their last commercial 747 flights will be CX542 HKG-HND on 30/9/2016 and CX543 on 1/10/2016. And, yes, I guess I will have the same crew both ways.
I'm not anticipating needing to eat much on arrival since I will have been at the F lounge in HKG and have eaten on board, but maybe a nightcap would be good!

In the morning I'll want some breakfast in one of the lounges, perhaps with a glass of champagne!
I guess what I'm still not sure on is:
- the opening hours and facilities of the JAL F lounge (which is separate from the Sakura lounge as I understand it); if it were open 24 hours and had somewhere to nap for a few hours and a shower then I could skip the transit hotel
- the relative merits of the CX lounge and the JAL F lounge, particularly with regard to ambience, breakfast offering and drinks offering.
