So in a fit of nostalgia I am burning some Asiamiles for a last trip (HKG-HND-HKG) in the nose of a CX 747 in late September. I spent many, many hours there back in the day when I was taking 100+ CX flights a year.

But unfortunately a same-day turnround isn't possible. I will arrive at HND at 21:35 and depart at 10:35.

The question is how to split my time at HND between the CX & JL F lounges (I assume JL honours the access by class of service rule for CX F pax) and the Royal Park airside transit hotel. I have no need to go landside unless anyone can give me a good reason to do so.

I see that the CX lounge is open with limited service from 22:00 until their redeye departs around 1am, and then again from 07:30. I can't immediately find the opening hours of the JL F lounge, and the English information on their website is limited.

I guess I'm going to want to get about 6 hours sleep, which, assuming the JL lounge has nowhere to do that, means that I need a room at the transit hotel (JPY11000 for 6 hours, JPY13000 for up to 12). Other than that, how would you recommend splitting my time between the JL and CX lounges, and what are their attractions?
