I have to agree with missydarlin on the rainer cherries. Unfortunately, they are hard to come by down here in Los Angeles, and probably impossible the rest of the nation. They are the sweetest cherries in existance. Some people may know them as Qween Anne Cherries. missydarlin, when the season comes, can you mail down a bunch to us? The local markets charge anywhere from $5.00 - $8.00 a pound for them. I would go to Pike's mkt in summer just to get these when I was visiting in seattle. I once brought 10 lbs back to LA.
