Yeah, you are right about the day trip. I figured if a late train is scheduled, I will go there, have a meal, buy my daughters some souvenirs and head back. ( I can move easy without dragging kids. I am thinking about booking a second hotel (In Vienna) just so I have a place overnight. Firgured I would go out there my second day.

Yeah, for Vienna I originally was hoping Glock did factory tours (Deutsch Wagram, NE of Vienna) but it is absolutely off-limits to the public unless exclusively invited. I will look into Salzburg. Thanks for the recommendation.
