IAH isn't enough. Of all the airlines, UA has the weakest presence in the Southeast, especially in Florida. Only DL and UA are the ones without hubs in Florida. But while DL has couple of airports that fly to more that just their hubs, UA only flies to their hubs.
I was also thinking LATAM, Central America, Carib etc. IAH is not a bad hub. My boss who is a UA man connects through IAH all the time when going to and from Florida.
