Thanks for posting this as I was trying to keep an eye on C&P coming up for this property and your alert allowed me to book for next July.
With regard to your question, I think you are probably right as the C&P rate doesn't compare very well with the senior rate you are getting:
(Taxes not included below)
€1 = ~$1.10
€214 = ~ $235
Senior rate - (C&P rate $ amount) = (C&P rate starpoint amount)
$235 - $110 = 6000 starpoints= $135
This values the Starpoints at 0.02c/point. Not a particularly good value.
I booked later in the season when the rates are much higher and was getting more than 0.06c/point when using C&P.
