There is no indication that transferring to your own account has any effect on your ability to transfer to an AU's account, nor that transferring to an AU has any effect on transfers to your own account. It's all about having only one transfer-eligible AU per year. (I looked at the terms whle logged into a Sapphire Preferred account. I do not have an Ink Plus or Bold. I suppose those terms could be more restrictive.)
My DW & I both sent SMs to Chase asking about this, and--after both getting infuriatingly irrelevant boilerplate replies (about program basics) that did not answer the question--we pushed harder & eventually got identical replies from a senior service specialist in another department. Here's what he said:
If you transfer rewards to one of our partner programs that is a co-owner of your business listed on your account, that person will be the only person besides yourself that you will be able to transfer to for the remainder of the calendar year.
Ungrammatical, but the intent is pretty clear.
This still isn't stated anywhere in the program rules for our Ink Plus accounts, FWIW.
