EDIT: The more I think about it, this may be the most troubling of the recent moves. It's an obvious cash grab, and not well considered. To be sure, JetSmarter's profit margin on this addition is near 100%, but to bring in what would be considered significant revenue at this price would require hundreds or thousands of new "social" members, thus greatly diminishing availability and the overall value and appeal of the more expensive tiers. I'd like to know what's going on behind the scenes there, but I suspect it's some level of panic.
I just saw this email. Although small companies/startups can obviously make quick decisions and introduce new products, with the number of changes in such a short amount of time, this seems slightly desperate. I would definitely love to know what's going on behind the scenes also.
