I agree - for me Amano'i is the ONLY beach resort to go for in Vietnam. The others are sub-standard, even the Nam Hai, with its shin-bruising interiors. There is nothing wrong with the Amano'i beach, apart from it being a bit windy at times.
Hm, that hurts. I truly value your opinion as I felt in the past that we were thinking similarly. As I was thinking of Nam Hai as the splurge of my honeymoon trip next year, I guess I'll have to reconsider. Rates at Amanoi are 1100 USD (incl. tax) per night on a B&B basis and 1750 USD for the Amanoi Hideaway all incl.). That's slightly above what the Mrs. and I will be looking to pay.
As our plan was to combine Nam Hai, Hyatt Regency Danang and Park Hyatt Saigon (last two on points as I have 300'000 points). Guess I'll reconsider.
