Me again
I've stayed at this hotel at least 5 times now. Generally the staff are quite nice and the club lounge is decent for a US property. Rates are very high these days.
My recent stay was for 4 nights, and I put out the MAGC card every night. At checkout the agent said it would be 1000 points for MAGC. I tried to suggest that this isn't correct, since 1500 points should be due for 3 days but he was having none of it (his argument went something like 'house keeping happened on your first and last day so you can't claim those').
I was tired and in a hurry so couldn't muster a coherent response. Obviously I should have just asked 'have many MAGC points would I get for a two night stay?'. A few seconds of thought would show that gets 500 points but I didn't think to ask about it.
To be fair, they've occasionally given me too many points in the past so it all evens out I guess.
