For a recent stay at a Residence Inn my bill was slipped under the door.

My favorite story about receipts is at a Courtyard by Marriott. They didn't slip them under the door, but left them in front of it. Thus I could see that Priceline did give me a very good deal, as I had paid much less for my room than the other folks on the floor. ($37 v. $129)
