Marriott is learning...obviously due to looking at SPG numbers on the subject and trying to bring the MR and SPG programs a but more in line with each other in anticipation for the eventual 2018 merged program.

I don't think SPG can share proprietary info with Marriott before the deal closes.
During the bidding process, certain financial details would have been shared, but technically they're still competing companies.
