Note that the SPG welcome amenity is only 250 points in some brands such as aloft and element, which also give fewer points for MAGC.
Marriott Exec Apartments are 2.5 points. Residence Inn & Townplace Suites are the only two brands that give 5 points. The rest of the Marriott brands (including the less expensive ones) give 10 points per dollar.

Most of the Marriott brands give 500 points if choosing points as the Platinum amenity, but some of them give less (400, 250, 200) & the RC gives 1,000.
