If they give us 4 or five we can't complain, Starwood gives two points per dollar and Marriott gives five, but they both give the 500 checking bonus ( Platinum members). If you stay numerous nights you need 4-5 because the 500 is a one time bonus. If you stay single nights, then 4-5 will be great value.
