There are only three convertibles on fleet at present: the Camaro, the Mustang and the Merc SLK.

In SoCal and Arizona, there are far more Camaro V6 models than Mustangs - at least 3:1 and perhaps nearer 5:1.

If you book a convertible, they will try to give you one, but depending on supply at the time, you may not get much choice on model. If you are happy to go with a non-convertible, yo may be able to agree to something else.

The SLK is a strict 2 seater. The Camaro and Mustang do seat 4. The issue with both is not so much the capacity of the boot as the size of the opening to get large stuff in there.

Most of the cars will have been bought "for the season", so will likely be 2016 models that went on the road earlier this year. There are some 2015s still out there, but far fewer than there used to be.
