In most cases a $25/average bet at tables games is going to "hurt you" more than help you. IMHO, your girlfriend would have been better off NOT using a players card for her blackjack play. It's all about the "profile" you want the casinos to "see." You DO NOT want them to ever see you as a $25 blackjack player.
