They will ask why you need another card and you tell them a reason ("I like to track all of my gas expenses separately" or "I sometimes have to buy things for work that will be reimbursed, so I want them all on one card separate from my personal purchases.") With yours, they then may likely go "Well, you already have a lot of credit with us" -- to which you reply: "Agreed. I really don't need 19k on my other card. Can you transfer $5-10k of that to this new card please."
