Couple of data points and a very impressive turnaround:

Flew a couple AC transpacs and some CA domestics in April/May. For the most part, flights credited within 3 days. No big deal. CA domestics purchased via Ctrip, 100% earn rates. Yay!

This morning, however, I finally was able to retroclaim the one CA domestic F (1200 RMB, even) that just wouldn't post. Put in the claim at around 9:10AM PST.

Happened to be doing an awardwallet refresh of A3 at 9:30AM PST and it had already been claimed. Twenty minutes! That's probably the fastest retroclaim processing I've ever experienced.
