usually yes you will be picked up at the gate, brought through transit security and to the lounge, but no buggy, as everything is very close (in particular from transit security to the FCL.
Well, how long you should stay in the FCL depends really on your alternative program...I stayed there up to 8 hours with massage, meal and drinks and some work to do, but never 12+
