I recall Raffles had similarly high rates when they first opened, and had to drop them pretty substantially.
Except Raffles has nothing "special" to offer, SS has - it seems -
an amazing location.
I think they need to include their heli transfer and some extras
to be able to charge that much. Still I don't think they will open in October
We wanted to go there and even plan our trip around it, but somehow
now, after all those delays, I'm not sure anymore.
