I hope I have understood the original questions: I have been looking at Airlink flights on United's Mileage Plus website. We are flying from JNB to HDS for a safari and then from HDS to CPT for a week - both Airlink flights. While there seems to be no availability at this time for my flights (March/April 2017) I do get results for other dates. However, I have ruled out using our Mileage Plus Miles as 35,000 (17,500 per flight) seems wasteful.
