Yes I just booked the four seasons in Chicago for August using this tactic. Paid for 2 nights got the 3rd (from four seasons) and 4th free (from Citi). Also got free breakfast every morning and $100 spa/food credit. The 3rd night free was on the four seasons website and they booked it for me with no problem.
