Recently, I started looking up hotels on Instagram as part of my research process. I've found it to be a surprisingly useful tool as it allow me to see things that aren't usually present in reviews. For example, people post a lot of photos of the food they eat so I can see almost the entire menu. Also, you can see from the photos how crowded the pool tend to be, same for the gym, the light levels in the rooms etc.

For those who aren't familiar with Instagram, all you have to do is go to SEARCH and then select PLACES. You can then type the name of the hotel.
