Yup was unlucky indeed. What surprised me was the Priority tag didn't matter. Yes, I've had delayed luggage before --- but in all those instances a short connection was involved or a long delay (plus I didn't have priority tags back then.)

Yes, MRU was AMAZING! I didn't know much about this island other than the dodo but it's extremely beautiful and not that cheap. Quite pricey in some areas but overall I had an awesome vacation! I'd fly Air Mauritius again and I'd fly these same flights JFK-CDG-MRU again, though I'll make sure to go to transit desk in CDG to follow up on my bags to ensure all is ok.
