Seems complicated, I wont even try to understand it with my limited programming knowledge. Website queries the GDS showing availability in a specific booking class. If Booking Class Remaining >=5 display X number of seats remaining at this fare. Wouldn't you have to program it to think of every single possible scenario that revenue management system can come up with?
